Is the abortion law changing? – A survey by Pulzus

In the future, a pregnant woman will only be able to have an abortus after hearing the fetus’ heartbeat. The fetal heart must be heard before pregnancy is terminated, according to the regulation on fetal life protection signed by the interior minister on September 15.

Additionally, a specialist’s report is required, which attests to the clarity and recognizability of the indicators demonstrating the functioning of the fetal essential functions.
The law states that life begins at conception and that the mother can only decide responsibly regarding the destiny of the fetus after hearing its heartbeat.
