Have you read the Labor Code? – A survey by Pulzus

Another revision to the Labor Code is being made, this time because of EU legal harmonization. The vulnerability of Hungarian workers to their employers will increase.

Initiated with an aim toward harmonizing EU legal systems, the Labor Code change frequently results in major rights abuses for employees.

One provision of the law that has been changed makes it easier to fire someone whose health prevents them from performing their former work. The leave, the date on which the employee could decide, may cease.  The rule regarding the place of work would also be loosened. Furthermore, changes would be made to the work schedule and its variability.
