Scotland offers free feminine hygiene products – A survey by Pulzus

Scotland is the first country in the world to make menstrual products free for women. The law, which is effective immediately, stipulates that all women have free access to feminine hygiene products. The new measure is anticipated to cost the government of Scotland 24 million Forints per year, according to estimates. Menstrual poverty is a global issue that affects many nations. 1 in 4 respondents to a prior study of 2,000 people in Scotland had difficulties accessing feminine hygiene products.
