Are you satisfied with the current GP on-call system? – A survey by Pulzus

More and more individuals are going to their family doctor, even during the flu season, nearly beyond the shock brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
The government order to restructure Hungary’s medical on-call system went into effect in January. By the end of 2023, the new system will be used nationwide for on-call medical treatment. The “trial operation” is already taking place in the county of Hajdú-Bihar.
The main difference between now and before is that the National Ambulance Service will manage the completion of this task, and a third of the current call sites will go.

We surveyed Pulzus users regarding the topic, to determine their satisfaction with the present GP on-call system. 31% of respondents are more content with the current system, while 14% are entirely satisfied. 15% are not at all content with this, while 19% are rather dissatisfied. 18% of those polled said they didn’t frequently utilise the on-call system, 2% couldn’t assess this for other reasons, and 1% did not wish to comment on this issue.
