Are you a competing type? – Pulzus survey

Many aspects play a role in competing for predisposition, from broader cultural reasons, through the characteristics of a particular group, to personality traits.

Some people perform worse in competitive situations than usual. Competition is both attractive and fear-provoking; the wish for success can make it desirable, while the danger of failure can cause anxiety. The motivation for success and the avoidance of failure is present in all of us simultaneously. Only the ratio of the two is different. Some can not tolerate even a small amount of excitement, and their performance decreases as the tension increases.

As psychologists say, so-called contradictory thinking can be observed in competitive sports: those who win a silver medal think they are almost first, while those who win bronze think that they are almost behind the podium, so while the former considers the result to be a failure, the latter to be a success.

We wanted to find out how much Pulzus users consider themselves a competing personality.
40% of respondents feel somewhat, while 13% do not feel a competing type at all.
