Clearcutting is permitted in nature conservation areas as well – A survey by Pulzus

The logging regulations were modified by the government. The government decree published this week suspends the current nature conservation rules for the sake of logging.
Now that clear-cutting is allowed in nature conservation zones as well, the prior regulations that were designed to ensure the unhindered functioning of wildlife are no longer applicable. Since the decree essentially stopped nature preservation, everything depends on the professional sense of responsibility of the foresters.
Up until now, the forestry authority could decide whether a forest was suitable for felling based on the traits and health status of the tree species that make up the tree population; however, from this point forward, this is merely a suggestion in state forests. Thus, younger forests can also be harvested. The government intends to replace gas heating with a stove and boiler program wherever possible.

We polled Pulzus users regarding the new logging rules. We were wondering if they agree with them or not?
