The twelfth national consultation, in which the population can express their opinion on EU sanctions for Russian aggression, may cost 10 billion Forints, according to estimates.
There are a total of 7 questions in the consultation. Hungarians have the opportunity to voice their opinions on a number of issues during the national consultation, including the sanctions imposed by Brussels on gas shipments, the price of raw materials, the expansion of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant, restrictions on travel, and the sanctions driving up food prices. Before each question in the questionnaire, they explain what the mentioned measure is about.

According to 83% of the respondents, there is no need for a consultation that costs 10 billion, in the current situation.
24% of the participants in the research would use the amount allocated for the consultation to help poor people and provide them with a larger utility subsidy, and 27% would rather decide in favor of the entire household utility subsidy.
