Performing physical activity between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. can do a lot for your health. Austrian and Spanish researchers say that morning exercise can reduce the risk of developing cancer.
Previous research has shown that regular physical activity reduces cancer risks, but the significance of timing was not yet clear.
However, according to the results of the newest experimental study, physical activity in the afternoon or evening may shift the melatonin rhythm of the body. The hormone melatonin is produced by the human body mostly in the evening, and several studies have associated this healthy process to a reduction in the risk of cancer.
In the course of the control examinations, the phenomenon was observed with the participation of 2795 people. It has been revealed that the protective effect of sports against prostate and breast cancer is greatest when exercise is performed between 8 and 10 a.m.
