Is obesity a severe problem? – Pulzus survey

Obesity is a public health concern in many countries. Despite its frequency and significant consequences, however, it is not being addressed with sufficient intensity. Obesity is often the root cause of a variety of chronic illnesses. Diabetes, cardiovascular difficulties, and metabolic disorders are only a few examples.

By official rankings, Hungary is the fourth in the world, whilst first in Europe.
The quarantine didn’t help matters either; on average, Hungarians gained 3-5 kg throughout the times of restrictions.
The good news is that by adopting a healthier lifestyle, anyone can overcome obesity despite their age.

This time, we asked Pulzus users if they consider obesity to be a problem.
Obesity is viewed as a pressing problem by 71% of respondents.
