What help do Hungarian families need? – A survey by Pulzus

As in many other countries, Austria has seen unprecedented price increases for decades. The inflation rate is currently 8 percent, which is expected to remain so high for a long time.

In response to rising prices, the Austrian government would spend five billion euros to help individuals and one billion euros to help businesses, thus offsetting inflation.

The presented aid package would mean individual payments of several hundred euros to the population during this summer.

If Parliament approves the proposal, families can receive EUR 180 (HUF 71 thousand) per child, and those with low incomes will receive EUR 300 (HUF 119 thousand) one-time aid. In addition, all residents would be entitled to one-time financial assistance of 250 euros (99 thousand forints).

In our research, we were looking for the answer to the question: what do the users of the Pulzus application think about the Austrian aid package? In your opinion, would it be worthwhile to provide similar assistance to families in our country?

85% of respondents believe that such assistance would also be needed in Hungary.

Do you think people in Hungary should be helped in the same way as the people in Austria?
