Sexuality transcends physical and biological needs and can satisfy certain needs of the soul. A Japanese sex toy company studied in nine countries what causes people the most physical pleasure. Sex ranked first in six countries out of nine.

Sex came second in Germany after cuddling, and finished third in Taiwan, where people prefer spending time with their lovers and cuddling.
Interestingly, in Japan, eating delicious food was first, spending time with their lover was second, followed by cuddling, then laughing, and sex was only fifth.
In our research, we asked our users in the Pulzus app, whether intimate intercourse causes the most physical pleasure to them?

For 42% of respondents, sexual activity is not the primary source of physical pleasure.
