Hungarian police is working on the promotion of the internationally recognized Signal for Help, so that vulnerable people can signal silently and ask for help from fellow citizens.
Unfortunately, victims often do not have the opportunity to seek help. The raised, clenched hand is the internationally accepted signal that conveys the call for help.
The movement sequence originated from Canada is now known almost everywhere as a sign of a silent cry for help. The Hungarian National Police cautions that if you notice this movement sequence, call 112 as soon as possible.
