Do you use sunscreen? – Pulzus survey

Protection from the sun’s harmful rays is essential for everyone, regardless of age or skin type.

Even on moderately hot days, UV radiation can be extreme.
Ultraviolet rays can cause irreversible DNA damage, leading to the development of skin cancer.
Adults can spend about 20 minutes in direct sunlight without being sunburned, but of course, this depends on the skin type and the amount of UV exposure.
We can extend this period with the use of sunscreen products.

A sunscreen’s SPF (Sun Protection Factor) indicates how much longer you can spend outside than the standard 20 minutes.

In our latest survey, we asked Pulzus users if they use sun protection when they go outside.
It turns out that barely half of those surveyed, 51%, use sunscreen products, while 49% said they couldn’t be bothered.
