Facebook itself admits that social media is addictive. Facebook’s analysts say one in eight Facebook users develop an addiction so serious, it can affect their sleep, work, and even family relationships. Although the business principle for all social media is to motivate users to spend as much time on their platform as possible, Facebook users tend to become more compulsive over time, than users on other websites and applications.
Research has shown that most users are not able to control the time they spend on the interface, resulting in serious life-management problems for most of them.
In addition, Facebook’s own research shows that social media use also negatively impacts the mental health of young people.
We asked the users of the Pulzus app how much do they consider themselves addicted to Facebook?
