The happiness map of Hungary was created. It shows where the most satisfied people live in the country.
The Positive Psychology Research Team of ELTE PPK and the ‘Jobb veled a világ’ (The world is better with you) foundation led by Bella Bagdi have prepared the country’s happiness map. The purpose of the study was to assess the level of happiness and global well-being of the Hungarian population.
In addition, the project’s staff helps to increase people’s happiness levels with a free Happiness Program. They want to increase awareness of the fact that happiness can be created, and according to the latest research, anyone can learn it.
According to the level of population happiness and global well-being, the inhabitants of Central Transdanubia declared themselves the happiest.
Most satisfied people live in Szekesfehervar, and the least happy settlement is Kaposvar.
Although the Positive Psychology Research Group of ELTE PPK does not examine infrastructure and job creation data, it has been scientifically proven that people thrive more where financial conditions are better.
