Never before have there been as many Hungarian workers in Austria as there are now. More than 114,000 Hungarians are working in the neighboring country at the moment, which is a historical high.
94,411 Hungarian citizens are not only working in Austria but living there as well.
After the coronavirus crisis, roughly a year ago, the number of Hungarians working abroad returned to the previously emerging trends. The Austrian labor market is growing dynamically, with nearly 4 million workers, of whom 947,000 are foreigners.
In July, the number of people working abroad increased by 980 compared to the previous month. This was the second-largest growth throughout the years among individual nations.
